The group divides on the pier. One half boards M/S Holly and sails down the Lustrafjord and into the Årdalsfjord, with rock walls rising a thousand metres on either side. The other half climbs the Tindevegen in a mountain coach — the road is closed to anything over ten metres, so that half rides in the short mountain coaches.
Everyone meets at the Klingenberg Hotell in Årdalstangen for coffee and a cinnamon bun. Then you trade places, and go home the way the others came. Five hours, and not a kilometre seen twice.
