Growth is measured from 2024: 22 calls and 44,347 guests. For 2027, 68 calls and 167,771 lower berths already stand confirmed — 3.1× the calls of 2024.

In between, 2025 reached 44 calls and 100,969 guests, and 2026 closed at 41 calls and 92,089 guests. 2 calls were cancelled, one for a change of itinerary and one for weather, and the cap on lower berths holds any single day in port to 5,500 lower berths, whatever the order book says.

Shore excursions, 2026

27,970 guests on excursions in 2026

30 % of the guests on the 41 calls went on a shore excursion sold through their ship: 27,970 of 92,089. On 28 calls the port's excursion team counted the guests on board or at the pier. On 12 the figure is the agent's final list. On top of this, the port sold 6,546 shuttle tickets at the pier (one ticket is one trip, not one unique guest). Star Legend on 1 Jul sold no excursions.

The busiest day ashore was Mein Schiff 3 (TUI Cruises) on 7 July 2026: 1,463 of her 2,681 guests went on excursions (55 %), more than on any other call in 2026. The season averaged 2,246 guests per call. She was alongside for 12.6 hours. No call in the season left more at the quay. The excursion figure is the final list from TUI Cruises; the port's own count follows.

68 calls carrying 167,771 lower berths stand confirmed for 2027, as recorded on 16 October 2026 — against 44 calls in the best completed season. These are bookings signed with the lines, not projections.

Bookings are confirmed as far ahead as 2033. Beyond next season, the port does not publish volumes. Availability for any season is answered from the same record — see booking a call.

Vessel range

From 228 lower berths to 5,252

One berth takes both ends of the market: a port that handles an expedition vessel and a ship of 5,252 lower berths in the same season is not a tender port with a niche.

Why third-party listings show a smaller port

Port databases and itinerary aggregators still repeat a 2019 season — twelve calls and a little over 24,000 guests. Against 2026's 41 calls and 92,089 guests that understates the port by a factor of three to four. Several of the same listings show only a handful of 2026 calls, because they index one month at a time.

The port has not verified that 2019 pair against its own archive and does not publish it as its own figure; the record here begins with 2024. Anyone holding an older number is welcome to check it against post@skjoldenport.com, and database operators are welcome to take the figures above as the port's own.
