The coach climbs the Fortun valley onto the first stretch of the Tindevegen and stops where a short path leads out to Berdalsnosi. Below you lies the whole head of the fjord — Skjolden, the lakes, the Lustrafjord running south. Turn round, and the Hurrungane fill the other half of the sky.

The coaches go up two or more at a time; how many rounds a call gets depends on its length. One price, the same on board as on the quay.

  • The Hurrungane at your back
  • A coach every rotation — choose your time

The day, hour by hour

Gangway to gangway

  1. 00:00 Depart the cruise pier on the shuttle coach. Standard coaches are permitted on this first stretch of the Tindevegen, so there is no vehicle change at Turtagrø
  2. 00:20 Up the Fortun valley towards Turtagrø
  3. 00:45 Onto the first stretch of the Tindevegen and set down at Berdalsnosi
  4. 00:50 Short walk to the 360-degree viewpoint — a few minutes from where the coach stops, which is the reason two coaches are the minimum
  5. 01:00 At the viewpoint: the Sognefjord one way, the Hurrungane peaks the other
  6. 01:15 Walk back and board the next coach in the rotation
  7. 02:00 Arrive back at the cruise pier

00:00 is the moment the group leaves the pier — not a clock time.
