Port Overview

Skjolden Cruise Port nestles at the end of the 205 km Sognefjord, your gateway to Jotunheimen's peaks, Jostedalsbreen's ice, and UNESCO Urnes Stave Church. Emerald fjords meet wild valleys and snow-capped mountains full of Viking spirit.

  • Facilities: 127.5 m quay (12 m depth, 3 m height), Total bollard strength 1000 tonnes (75-200t.); tender pier (36 m length, 4m depth); shuttle to village (1.2 km); nearby cafés/shops like a souvenir shop and a cafe at the pier, and the Warf House (900 m) and Fjordstova (1,3 km) in the local village.

  • Capacities: Up to 2 ships/day; 5500 pax total (lower beds).

  • Logistics: Airport (Sogndal, 65 km); hospital (Førde, 175 km); police/ immigration (Sogndal, 50 km).

We make planning easy with reliable delivery:

  • Season: April-Oct.

  • Capacity: 20 coaches; up to 2500 pax per day on excursions.

  • Pricing: Tours are priced per-pax brackets, dropping per bracket for volume value.

  • Variants: Signature tours are our most popular and customizable offerings. They are available in two tiers—Economy (basic essentials) and Premium (includes added touches like lunch)—to meet your cruise line's specific needs. To accommodate various ship itineraries and port times, all Signature tours also come in both a Condensed and an Extended version.

  • Booking: Through your preferred tour operator; we handle operations seamlessly. Prelims 90 days prior. Confirmations 48 hrs prior. 

  • Cancellations: 24 hrs prior.
