Skjolden Cruise Port · The Sognefjord
The most beautiful and most singular journeys this coast can offer: a catamaran down the Lustrafjord meeting two mountain coaches on the Tindevegen; a Viking camp beneath the Hurrungane; e-bikes to the glacier lake under Styggedalsbreen; and a walk inside the ice at 1,850 metres. The day planner
Every excursion offered, every coach working. The planner lays out the whole day for a seven- to twelve-hour call — with the port's coaches and M/S Holly, or with partner coaches added.
For shore excursion departments
Excursions leave from 30 minutes after arrival, and every guest is back aboard 30 minutes before departure. Neither margin is slack: the first is the gangway going down, the second the all-aboard time the ship will not sail without.
So a 10-hour call gives 9 hours ashore — the port's recommendation, and a full working day, with the break inside it, for every guide and driver.

Through the ship's own shore excursion programme. Guests book on board, and a tour that is sold out there is sold out. The four shuttles are the one exception: the same price on board or on the quay.
A DMC bringing its own coach and guide works through the pier access policy.
A guide and a driver of our own on every coach, in German and English. Dispatch runs from the pier, under the Shorex Manager.
00:00 in every itinerary is the moment the group leaves the pier — not a clock time. The last line is the return to the gangway.
The stave church takes seventeen guests every half hour, so a group divides between the church and the Ornes shipyard and the halves swap. Visits start at ten past and twenty to each hour, and the church is open 10:30–17:45 from 2 May to 30 September. The road is closed to anything over twelve metres, which puts both Urnes products on the mountain coaches.
Coach tours are open to guests who can board and leave a coach; beyond that the ground decides, tour by tour. The walk to the glacier front is rough and not step-free; the scenic drives ask for little walking beyond the stops.
